Mary Anne Phillippi
Program Design Specialist
Mary Anne Phillippi has dedicated her career to bridging the gap between science, business, and economic development. She has served as an educator, convener, liaison, program planner, and researcher with a focus on nurturing emerging life science clusters.
After earning her Bachelor of Science from the University of Omaha, Mary Anne worked as a biomedical researcher at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. In 2017, noticing a gap between researchers and the public they serve, she developed a 3-tiered outreach suite designed to connect students, patients, and researchers in the world of cancer research. In 2022, Mary Anne began work in the private sector as the first Life Science Real Estate Specialist for the Omaha Colliers Real Estate branch, leading space and program planning, specifically as pertains to wet lab and bioscience businesses.
Mary Anne has served in multiple science outreach programs in Nebraska, including STEM Ecosystem, STEM TRAIL Center, BioNebraska Women in Stem, Women in Bio, the Omaha Chamber MedTech Advisory Group, and co-founded the Women in Stem Council, a professional development program for women in business and science.
