John has 25+ years of experience as a startup and growth-stage operator, including 10+ years as CEO or General Manager. He has previously served as the CEO of communications software company NetSocket and has served in senior executive and General Manager roles at IBM, and AT&T/Avaya, as well as the Founder and President of the competitive intelligence firm CPI. John has managed P&Ls as large as $600M, raised capital, and directly managed 250+ employees. Throughout his career, he has completed multiple outsourcing agreements $100M or greater in total contract value.

 

In his current role in Executive Search at Rowe Global, John has successfully led over 100 talent acquisition, talent development and culture-building engagements. He works within a wide range of industries, but with a focus on technology services companies. John is a graduate of Duke University with a dual major in computer science and philosophy and earned an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University.
